A quality born of experience
PROCHIN ITALIA obtained the ‘Quality Management System Certification’ in 2003 and later, in 2006, integrated this system with environmental and safety certification.
The systems, initially developed on a unique basis, have evolved harmoniously over the years, developing management processes that have been refined into a ‘Coordinated and Integrated System’.
Through the application of this organizational system, the management pursues a modern business approach. This aims at optimal planning of means and resources to achieve, through continuous process improvement research, the enhancement of ergonomic conditions and thus human well-being in work activities, the maintenance of product quality performance, and environmental protection
The measurability of performance
UNI EN ISO 9001:2015 | 14001:2015
The ‘Quality Management System’ is the result of a detailed and complex analysis and evaluation of business processes, methods, and procedures. Over the years, activities have been improved and validated with the crucial contribution of the personnel directly responsible for operations. Management procedures and operational instructions have therefore been established, defining tasks, responsibilities, and authority.
At its quality control laboratory, Prochin Italia studies, researches, and develops new product formulations—also utilizing pilot plants or collaborating with clients and public institutions—aimed at improving the application characteristics of materials. At the same time, a systematic analysis of customer feedback is carried out, allowing for a continuous evaluation of how well the company’s products meet customer expectations in terms of performance, quality, safety, and environmental impact considerations.
Health and safety in the workplace
UNI ISO 45001:2023
Prochin Italia operates according to procedures and work methods that prioritize workplace safety. Even in terms of equipment, safety has served as a fundamental guideline in the design of plants and the implementation of prevention and protection measures.
Management has always favored an ethical approach in running the company, oriented toward ‘sustainable development,’ allowing for the anticipation and rationalization of future needs—beyond current ones—in terms of resource utilization and energy savings.
Environmental compliance
Since 2002, Prochin Italia has adhered to the chemical industry’s voluntary program ‘Responsible Care,’ which is based on the implementation of principles and practices concerning worker health and safety as well as environmental protection.
The company’s procedures comply with the European Regulation 1907/2006 REACH (Registration, Evaluation, Authorization, and Restriction of Chemicals).
During 2015, the company obtained the “Make it sustainable” certification.
